Hands Down, Jumping Up & Down, Happy Dance, and all that jazz, this Botanical Gardens suite of products in the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2016 Occasions catalog is my FAVORITE!! We saw this wonderful stamp set, matching dies and drop-dead gorgeous printed designer paper at the OnStage event in San Diego in November and I got to preorder it as a perk for attending the event!
Stampin' Up! let us die cut the larger flower and gave us the piece of designer paper to stamp on (see below) and then I came home and created a card out of the pieces, adding the gorgeous leafy vine die cut on the right, and a few more flowers with Candy Dot centers.
After I die cut the leafy vine portion on the right side of the card, I sponged some Mossy Meadow ink with a sponge dauber on it.. i love the 2-tone contrast!
So did you catch that above… the stamps actually coordinate with the designer paper, so you can add more detail to the leaves and flowers if you want to!! WHAT A COOL CONCEPT! "Cool Beans" as my friend Collette says!!
Below: Check out the cool feature of this flower framelit… it actually does a "double cut" and the petal centers are die cut out of the larger petals… so pretty!!!
When you get your catalog, be sure to jump to the Botanical Gardens "centerfold" and linger for a moment over the suite of 6 coordinating products on those 2 pages!
So, are you on my list for free catalogs!? Need a Stampin' Up! catalog?
Isn’t that the loveliest stamp set and dies? That is so pretty with what you have done with it. I love the idea of the die just cutting the petal so it lifts up in the center. How pretty!! I love flowers, and so this is something I am going to love. The paper that can be stamped is a great idea too. Hope you are having a great weekend, and thanks for sharing.
Best wishes,
Karren
