I am so glad I am a Paper Pumpkin subscriber!! I have thoroughly enjoyed all the recent monthly kits!! The November Kit is so timely.. I was excited to make up a batch of QUICK Christmas cards with this kit.. and of course I put my own little twist on some of them…
I grabbed my wonderful Paper Snips and cut out poinsettia flowers from the Home for Christmas designer series paper pack (pg 9 in the 2015 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog). I didn't even use up 1/2 a sheet and was able to add 1 or 2 poinsettias to each of the 5 cards with this design.
What's your preference when you make up a Paper Pumpkin kit.. do you like to alter the project? Or do you like to make it just like the step by step instructions show?
In the November kit, there were supplies to create 5 of the cards above (I added the poinsettias of course) and then there were supplies to make 5 of the cards shown below, plus the 10 envelopes and tons of adhesive dots and dimensionals!
The only thing I did to "alter" the 2nd card was I added some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine in addition to the Linen Thread that came in the kit. Click to View This Post to see how I like to store my Baker's Twine!
Check out the Oh So Awesome little red and white pearls that come in the kit… OOOOOOOOOOH my .. toooo pretty!

Love this idea, too. I used the inside of one envelope along with other designer paper purchased from you. I now have 20 cards made. I did use a “Cherry Cobbler” base for several and cut some of the cards in the kit to layer……oh what fun I have had.
