I've shared this story before, but you may have missed it.. the initial reason I started blogging was because I missed the daily phone calls from my mom. She passed away almost 10 years ago, and she called me nearly every day at 5pm. We'd talk about the day, she always wanted to know about everything we were doing. She was the BEST listener!! When she was gone, I felt such a void.. I felt like I had nobody to share my day with.. so.. I started my blog and shared what I was doing. Little did I know I would be blessed with so many friends all over the country and the world who read my posts and share their day and crafting experiences with me!!
So THANK YOU for sharing my journey and CHEERS to many more years ahead!!
I've certainly come a LONG way with my stamping projects, my photography skills and the tips and information I've shared with you… if you'd like to view some of those earlier blog posts, click here to see my first few blog posts !

Thank you for sharing your creativity! Your roses are soooo beautiful!
Good morning Patty, I know what you mean by having that void. Of course my mom lived with me so It’s still very hard for me. She was my ROCK. We talked about everything and when times were tough she was here to see me through it. I have that empty hole in my heart that I just can’t can’t seam to get through it. I know it takes time, but now that my mom and dad are both gone it’s like being an orphan. Nobody to hold me when I need it. Life goes on, but I know God is there to help me…….. God Bless you Patty. I LOVE your blog so much and are emails. Take care, God Bless and HUGS to you. Keep up the great work. I really look forward to your blog every morning. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for all of your blog posts Patty. I have been following you for nearly 8 years and I have learned a TON of great tips and gotten many wonderful ideas from you. I have even been a lucky recipient of some blog candy 🙂 One of those coveted printer’s trays from a few years ago. Here’s to another many years – congratulations on the amazing milestone!!

Congrats on your blog anniversary! Thanks for all you do!
Hi Patty,
Just looked back at your first blog posts. One can tell from the very first that you would be wonderful at blogging. You have experienced such wonderful milestones, and have just perfectly shared videos, tips, tricks and beautiful ideas to support and give us all inspiration. You must be so proud and happy.
My mom passed away in 2003, and when you spoke about no one to talk to, I can relate to that completely. There is just no one that takes the place of a mom. Congratulations, Patty, and may you go on to have many, many more years of creativity through your blogs. Thanks, too, for all you do for all of us. I always wish I lived right next door.
Enjoy your weekend coming up.
Best wishes,
Karren
I lost my mom in 2003…thank you for sharing you beautiful work…Hugz!
Patty, firstly congratulations on your very special anniversary.
Thank you also for sharing your craft especially to newcomers like me.
And remember, your Mom is still in your Heart and no one can take that away from you. You are a part of her as much as she is a part of you.
Hugs: Mal, Melbourne Australia.
I’m sure so many of us are going to relate to your story and I do also. My mother passed very unexpectedly 7 years ago, but although she lived in New Zealand & I was in Australia, we emailed daily, and took overseas trips together. She died in Lima, Peru with me holding her hand. Eventually I had to spend time tidying her affairs and selling up and I found out how fond of Stampin up she was!!! I’m not exaggerating, and it seemed a shame to let all this lovely product go for a song in a garage sale, so I had the removal people add it to the other 43 crates of furniture and momentoes that I couldn’t let go. I would sit at the computer in the evening waiting for her email to arrive, but in between I would stamp. I finally joined as a demonstrator 5 years ago, and also enjoy the wonderful friends Stampin Up has introduced to me. Thank you Mother, and Patty. xxxx
Congrats and thank you! I didn’t know I started following you from the beginning. I love your inspiration and creativeness. I look forward for your daily blogs. I enjoy when you share Stampin up conferences and family times but the flowers pictures are the best. On a few occasions I have said, but Patty says… Thank you for sharing.
I’m so happy you started your blog 9 years ago. I am so sorry you lost your Mom; I understand, as I lost mine to cancer at age 25. That was 36 years ago.
I never miss your blog, it is THE one that I make sure to look at every single day. I am a hobby demo, and I always enjoy your posts…and your flowers. I used to have a beautiful rose garden in GA, but had to move with my then husband. I have missed it very much! I absolutely love your flowers.
Thank you for all the hours you put into your projects and videos. I truly appreciate all the work it takes. As long as you are blogging, I will be reading your posts!
Patty: Its hard when you lose your Mom. Lost mine in 2004. Then in 2012 I lost the LOVE of my life after 60 years. It has not been easy but I still make my cards and that keeps me busy. I follow your post everyday and I love the flower cards you make they are very inspiring and Beautiful. Your flower garden
is everyones dreams. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
