As you heard in the video, all you need is a 3"x3" scrap of designer paper to put behind the die cut opening from the Window Box thinlit die.  You can cut your die cut pieces really any size you wish.. I believe mine are 3-3/4" square in these cards, then layered onto 4" square paper and then onto 4-1/4" cards.

  1. Those cards are gorgeous Patty! I l love how you actually showed us what the different DSP patterns look like behind the diecut window in the video – it was really neat to see how the various papers give a totally different feel. I just got my dies in the mail, so I’m excited to try this myself! 🙂

  4. Lots of good ideas to get our juices flowing. I wonder how they would look with the die cut from colored cardstock. For instance – the Fruit Stand or Blooms and Bliss samples had quite a bit of white in them, leading to a more subtle-less high contract result. I wonder what they would look like with the die cut from in Old Olive, or Rich Razzleberry card stock. Also – in addition to using 3 1/4″ squares, it would be interesting to see what it would look if the die cut shape was cut with one of the round-stitched dies. Just wondering . . .
