I stamped the background of this card using the Delicate Details Sale-a-Bration stamp set (free with your $50 purchase through 3/31/17) on 2 pieces: Very Vanilla (4"x5-1/4") and Pumpkin Pie (3-3/4" square).  Both are stamped with Delightful Dijon ink.  The Very Vanilla piece is also sponged around the edges with Delightful Dijon ink.   DID YOU KNOW?  Delightful Dijon is a soon-t0-be-retired In Color! Click for more info!

The 2 background pieces are mounted onto a folded Crushed Curry top fold card.

TIP: I mounted 2 of the lace stamp images onto one clear block (Block I #118488) and stamped them at once to maximize stamping time.

So that takes care of the background.  For the focal point, I die cut the oval and the butterfly piece using the Timeless Tags thinlit dies on page 23 of the 2017 Occasions catalog (#144725).  I die cut the oval with Very Vanilla cardstock and placed a piece of watercolored paper behind the butterfly die cut opening!!

I also used the same watercolor scrap to die cut the flowers from the Succulents framelits.

I layered a Lace doily behind the oval for some added texture, contrast and interest.

I layered 3 flowers from the Succulent Framelits dies, die cut from my left over scrap of watercolor paper (see tip above).  You can see the succulent flower framelits on page 21 of the 2017 Occasions catalog or HERE in my online store.  I added a gold Metallic Enamel shape to the center of the flower.

  1. Hi Patty,
Oh, my, what a beautiful card, Patty. Just love it. It is my favorite colors. You are so talented and helpful. I must be a little dense in the head, as I would have never thought to put more than one of the beautiful lace stamp on one block. Thank you for that! I always think singular stamp to the block.
Hope you are well and happy. Enjoy a wonderful week.
    Best wishes,
    Karren
