Today I have a fun Customer Thank You card project to share with you, and I was inspired to create these "Pop of Pink" Stampin' Up! cards after seeing these adorable cosmetic bags!
True Confessions: I have a slight addiction to pretty zippered cosmetic bags / pencil pouches. I have a billion of them.. well, maybe a few dozen. It took all my will power NOT to buy this 3 pack at Sally Beauty recently.. instead, I decided to take a photo and use it as inspiration for a stamping project! 🙂 I told myself: walk away..you don't need them..
So what do you think? I think the Stampin' Up! Pop of Pink paper with the black, white, pink and gold paper really helped to capture the feel of these bags!
GREAT NEWS! the Pop of Pink paper is ON SALE for only $7.80 per pack, while supplies last!!

Each card is created with the Stampin' UP! Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut at 4-1/4"x11", scored in half and folded. I added strips of Pop of Pink designer paper to the card plus the pink scalloped piece. As mentioned below, you can get this scallop die on June 1st in the new catalog, or CLICK HERE to see how to make your own scallop with the Best Badge punch.
I mailed out these customer thank you cards cards with the 6×6 designer paper packets that I have been offering this week with customer orders.
This is my card making process.. I make one or two completed cards, then I cut all the paper supplies and lay it all out on my desk, then I assemble.
I LOVE this new scallop die.. it's in a new (upcoming) set of thinlits called Seasonal Layers. You'll find it on page 216 in the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog. I used it to die cut tons of pink polkadot patterned paper from the Pop of Pink specialty designer series paper pack.
The gold Metallic Enamel shapes (#141678) are really the perfect fun accent on these cards!
I stamped on a Stitched Shape framelit circle for all of the "Just for You" greetings (found in the Watercolor Words set) and then mounted the circle on a scalloped die cut (from the Layering Circles framelits) or onto one of the Eastern Palace Medallion thinlits. I love how they all turned out!
Above & Below: I used the super cute greetings from the Eastern Beauty stamp set on Stitched Shape circles, and layered them on to Eastern Medallion die cuts. These are NEW products that will be available on May 1, 2017 for an early customer ordering opportunity!
The wonderful Eastern Palace suite bundle will be available on May 1st!! Click here for more info!
