Organize your Ink Refills with Enamel Shapes!

Craft Room Organization Tip!

Organize your Stampin' UP! ink refills (re-inkers) by putting a Stampin' Up! Enamel Shape on the lid!

I organize mine in color families, and then place the Enamel Shape on the lid. This system makes it So easy to find the right color when I need to re-ink my pad!  I saw this idea online and I cannot fine the originator of this idea.. but if it was you, thank you and please comment so I can give you credit!

Organize your craft room! Place Enamel Shapes on your Stampin' Up! In Refills to easily identify them!

I am going to try to do a better job in the coming year to remind you to always buy the ink refill when you buy the ink pad.  You will always have it on hand, and we all know that a freshly inked pad produces a much better stamped image, too!

I store mine in a 4 section drawer divider from the Container Store in my Elfa Cart drawer:

Bisley 4-Compartment Shallow Drawer Insert Black
  • SKU#: 668070

  1. HELP, I can’t remember. Can you use the old re-inkers on the new pads if the color is the same? Love this idea of marking the re-inkers. Also the storing idea, I put mine in a box of just re-inkers by color, but marking them would be even easier. Thanks for the tip.

  2. This idea is genius!!!! ☺ Thank you for sharing this with us!! I found a website that sold very small white round stickers…and they’re intended for coloring and putting on the caps of bottles, etc…but I like this idea better!! Bling it up!!! lol

  3. This is a great idea, but it is 2025 now and a bunch of colors have been added, so all of the enamel dots are not available. Is there an alternative to the enamel dots, trying to think of one myself but if you have ideas, I would love it. Thanks

    • There are gems in almost every color, or, you can color the Iridescent pearls or Antique pearls with your matching Stampin’ Blends markers.
