  1. Patty, I have been reading your blog for almost 10 years. My coworker, friend and fellow crafter shared with me your blog address. At a time when I was just learning about blogs, I really have enjoyed yours. My most memorable post was the one about using the Bigz pennant die set. My failed attempt to follow your instructions (I glued the pennats on backwards). I have admired your creativity with the cards and projects you have made. I have enjoyed your flowers, your supportive family, and your videos. I have really enjoyed your caring spirit.

  5. Hi Patty, another congrats to you!. I found your blog while on Pinterest almost 2 years ago. I was just getting into stamping and creating cards. I had gone to a garage sale were someone was selling some stampin up ink pads and stamps. I started looking up stampin up on Pinterest. That’s when my obsession with the products began. I read your blog everyday now and you became my demonstrator.

  16. Congratulations Patty!! What an amazing milestone – 10 years of blogging. I’ve been following you for nearly the entire 10 years. I can’t exactly remember how I found you … but I think it must have been through a search for some stamp set and your blog came up. I remember your sunflower swap cards for the 2008 convention, when you sneaky-peeked the piles and piles of parts and pieces for the cards you were making. I love how you mix in tips and tricks when you are explaining your projects. The one that particularly sticks out in my mind was the tip you shared on how to cut the 12×12 DSP so that you could maximize its use with the matchbox die way back when. I referred to that tip quite often, as it was just genius 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years brings – Congratulations!!!

  21. Many years ago Aileen’s daughter found your blog. We have followed you since then. We enjoy checking in with you every day. I must agree with Aileen that the hamburger and pizza cards were so much fun. We spent an entire Saturday afternoon cutting and punching all the parts and pieces to create what we had seen on your blog.. It is wonderful that you are our demonstrator but also our friend even though we live on opposite sides of the country!

And then started to come to your great open houses! I loved those! You always had the best displays for ideas (no Pinterest or blogs in those days!). Congrats on your 10 years and for all your successes in your SU career!

  29. I have been following your blog daily for years. It was one of the web sites that was given to me when i started using Stampin ‘ Up products. The demonstrator said to check out your site for an array of ideas and so true it has been. I really like your out of the box ideas so I get more bang for my buck on purchases. One of my memorable non stamping blogs was when you had that HUGE beehive nest growing outside your fence in the back yard and you had to call in some bee removal experts to clear it out. The pictures were buzzworthy.
thank you for all your ideas and inspiration.

  33. Congrats Patty on 10 years of blogging. I think that I found you through another demo’s site or you were in a blog hop? Blog Hops are how I have found many SU demos I now follow. I believe that I have been following you for 3-4 years now..once I got a Smart Phone and have internet access and Pinterest.
My favorite blog post of yours was when you shared your craft space because it was not big and full of custom made cabinets and work spaces…yours is small and practical and achievable like most non-demo stampers have. It made you (to me) more like a friend”s stamping space..down to earth, homey, and you seem like the girl next door. One I personally know and like to spend time with to get inspiration from.
Your creations in your stamp space are just beautiful yet easy enough for any stamper to CASE and create at home.
I bought your little pack of garden flower photos with scripture and sayings..what a treasure! So uplifting and I love flowers too. My favorite cards of yours are ones with flowers!!
May God continue to bless your SU business for many more years.
Am from Iowa and Dena Rekow is my main demo but I love having contact through blogs/videos with other SU demos.

Just wanted to say congratulations on your l0 year blogging. The numbers just stagger the mind.
You are just so awesome. You always have the best ideas, videos, tips and tricks. I love how you share your family news, SU news involving you, and your gorgeous flowers. I knew about you a few years ago when my daughter, who was in demonstrator training, ask me if I knew Patty Bennett. At that time I looked you up on the internet, and I have peeked in on you every day. I always wish I lived next door. You feel like a friend, and I always wish I could drop in and help you out when you have huge jobs like paper shares, getting catalogs mailed, etc. I hope that your journey with SU is a long, long, one and wish you much more success! Thank you for everything.

First of all, congratulations on another milestone for you!! Woo Hoo!!
I have known you since convention in 1999. Through the yearly conventions, you kept going on stage, I knew then I wanted to be just like you!! Every year I would continue to see you on stage, and I said one year, I have got to swap cards with you. I found you and asked if we could trade cards, and you graciously accepted my card, even though I was growing through the stages of learning how to create awesome cards. I cherished that swap for so many years……I’m cleaning out everything now and it would be fun if I found it!
I have been following you just about 2008. My memorable item I loved you to create was the little book you colaberated with Cathy Palaris (sp) made out of cookie envelopes! I loved the fact that I won that cute kit to make.

One of the things I like best about your blogs is the way you super-impose arrows and comments on the step-by-step pictures of your projects, so we know exactly where to snip – glue – fold – etc. Makes me braver as I try a card or project. Though I didn’t recognize any of the specific cards in your look-back, I did recognize some of the products – ribbons, DSP, colors. 181. I can’t remember how I found you or even how long ago. I know I liked your style and wanted more creative ideas for my cards. I have been using Stampin Up products for over 10 years, starting with the Simply Scrappin’ kits. I have kept all my catalogs, the first one being the Oct. 2003-July 2004. Thanks for being so sweet to give away products!

Thank you for all the thought, time, and effort you put into each one. My favorite posts involve your watercolor lessons using sets like Rose Wonder. Thank you for coming up with such a wonderful idea and for sharing such great designs for using it! I also love hearing about your husband, son, father, and mother. 197. So many milestones for you lately and now a blogaversary! I found you as a demonstrator on SU!’s demo locator and decided a local upline would be best for me (plans didn’t quite work out, it happens) about a year and a half ago. I love your card making posts, so easy to get inspired with the simple ones or the ones with special hints and tips to get more out of any set of dies or stamps. My favorite posts are the ones of your garden! I have no head for greenery myself and love looking at all the brilliant colors that you grow!

  198. congratulations on a great 10 years. I believe I have been following you for maybe 6 years now. How time flys.
One card that comes to mind that you made that I make quite often was called the fold card. You used the Floral phrases stamp set and the paper that was available. Just love the design.
I really appreciate the videos that you make also and gain a lot of knowledge watching these.
Thank you for the opportunity for a chance to win some blog candy.

I have been following you for a few years and really enjoy your posts, especially any that have videos explaining the process of creating your project since I am a visual learner. My most favorite, or should I say the most meaningful, post would be your recent one explaining the Reason behind your creating the stamp set for your million dollar achievement. Such a heart warming story!

Love how it looks so much harder to make than it actually is! Thanks for teaching us all the great fun-folding cards and making it easy to recreate them! Congratulations on your blog and career success!

  205. Congratulations on your 10 years of blogging! I have been following you for years, maybe 10, I’m not sure. My favorite post was the one where you showed the Big on Birthdays stamp set with the Inside the Lines dsp. You are why I bought that dsp to make those cards. There have been many times when I have bought a particular stamp set because of your creativity. I love your cards and case them often. Please keep blogging for another 10 years or more!

  212. I only recently found your blog, when mentioned in another blog, but I find great inspiration from your posts. While I am sorry it was the loss of your Mom that started you blogging, sometimes it takes heart-wrenching events to start us on a new course. I am glad you have found comfort – and friends in followers – from your posts. Today is the 30th anniversary of my Mom’s passing and I miss her as if it were yesterday. For some reason completely unknown to me, my children have broken off contact since their Dad and I separated 17 years ago and papercrafting (and reading tons of blogs) have helped fill a void. Also, I joined SU in January and am excited about it. Also. I got a wonderful upline in the process who has not only answered my seemingly thousands of questions but made herself available to take me to visits with my surgeon following a shoulder replacement in March. Still, today is hard, missing my Mom, and tomorrow will be hard, missing Mom and my kids. However, I will busy myself with wonderful inspirational blogs like yours, and be grateful that I have something to fill my time, unlike so many in the senior building where I live.
I am convinced our Moms never really leave us and are always watching over us. I am sure yours is smiling at your lovely post, your generous blog candy and your open sharing. Your blog candy offer is wonderful – so kind of you. I will keep my fingers crossed. I could use some “happy”.

  215. Patty, I learn so much from your designs and videos and I couldn’t begin to pick just one. What I so appreciate about your blogs is that you explain how to create the card or project so clearly and slow enough for me to understand and CASE. Congratulations on your anniversary and hope to celebrate many more with you.
