I have a fun tip that I hope will give you ideas for storing and organizing your crafting embellishments and accessories!
I recently brought all of the new Stampin' Up! embellishments and accessories to a demonstrator meeting for the display table, and rather than just put the packages on the table, I put all the darling products in sweet little white bowls from the Daiso Japan store! They were only $1.50 each and made everything look so cute!
Watch the video below!
Please enjoy this quick 5 minute video with a fun tip for organizing (and hopefully USING) your crafting embellishments and accessories!
If you are viewing this in an email, please CLICK HERE to see the video on my blog.
We had lots of display tables at the meeting.. here are a couple photos of the tables as they filled up with products and projects;
When I came home from this demonstrator meeting, I decided to leave all of the products in the cute bowls, gather them all into a tray (from the Container Store) and keep them at my stamping desk!!
- I thought this should help keep them organized
- I hope it will encourage me to grab them and USE THEM!
- I can see at a glance what is running low
One tip I shared in the video above was to go ahead and take all of the wood embellishment pieces out of the wood sheets.. this way I KNOW I will grab them and use them.. and in fact I already have!

Thank you for the wonderful tips. The bowls look real cute.
Very cute idea! I’m the same way, if things are out of sight I tend to forget about them or not want to dig it out where it’s stored. I designed my craft desk to have everything at my fingertips. (Except the big shot and punches….they have their own spot in my craft room.)
What great tips Patty! I love being able to see all the pretty things – and definitely use things more when I can see them and not forget what’s hiding out of site. And I am SO jealous that you have a Daiso store!! They have such cute stuff in there that you can’t always find in our regular American dollar stores 🙂
I love the Daiso store! I learned about them last year when my son got married in Washington state. Wish I had one in Chicago! 🙂 The idea for the little bowls is great, but my cats would be playing with my stuff before I ever had a chance!
I want to go to stampinup Bay Area! …..lol! Thanks for the tip!…Gina f
I was thinking it’s a great idea but now when you share your home with cats! Yes, I too want to go to Stampin’ Up Bay area!
I was at the event with you and Gina. I noticed how cute you had displayed the embellishments. It stuck in my mind. Thanks for letting me know where to purchase the bowls.
The Daiso store is on line but It look like you have to buy quanities not small amounts
Thank you for sharing! I love the Daiso store! Everything is only $1.50! I go there to buy the fans that they sell. They come in very handy for when it’s hot somewhere and you need to cool off right away. But they also have the cutest containers and other items for not a lot of money.
