PAINTED AUTUMN SUITE – STAMPIN' UP! 2017 HOLIDAY CATALOG
{Holiday catalog starts Sept. 1, 2o17}
Perfect gift for List Makers! Are you looking for a quick and easy gift to give a friend, teacher, coworker, list-maker, etc.? How about a note pad in a clear case!? I used the Stampin' Up! Clear Stamp case, new Painted Autumn paper from the 2017 Holiday catalog, large alphabet framelit letters and a note pad to create these fun gifts!
I took one of these note pad holders as a gift to give to Cindee this week, as she hosted our monthly stamping day, and I wanted to take her a little thank you! We love our stamping days together, and she has a HUGE stamp room, so we stamp at her house. My stamp room is only 8' x 8' and can only seat one. She is so kind to host me in her lovely craft room!
You will find this awesome Painted Autumn paper on page 49 of your 2017 Holiday catalog and the Painted Harvest stamp set and leaf punch is on the same page!!
Iif you are one of my regular customers and have not received a Holiday Catalog in the mail yet, you will be getting one soon! If you are not yet a customer, or you don't have a demonstrator, please let me know so I can send you a catalog! This catalog starts on Sept. 1, 2017.
OOOPS! the clear cases are not shown in the catalog this year but they ARE available!

I cut the new Painted Autumn paper to approx 7" x 10-1/2" to insert into the clear mount stamp case. I added a few layers of various patterns from the same package as well as a pretty Daffodil Delight Decorative Ribbon punch trim piece.
I also used the Large Letters Framelits (#141712) found on page 215 of the annual catalog. I die cut them in Early Espresso cardstock and used Tombow Multipurpose glue to adhere them to my project.
To hold the notepad inside the clear mount case, use several strips of Tear & Tape! It works like a charm!
Find all of these supplies in my online store, or or click any of the product photos at the bottom of this post to purchase your supplies.
In addition to the beautiful printed Painted Autumn paper, I also stamped the sunflower from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Early Espresso on Whisper White cardstock, then cut them out with my paper snips. The leaves are stamped in Tranquil Tide and Pear Pizzazz then punched with the new leaf punch (part of a 10% discount bundle with the Painted Harvest stamp set).
Once the piece of designer paper is all decorated and ready, slip it into the plastic sleeve of the Clear Mount Stamp case and you have a gorgeous gift ready to give!
Added Note: Mary Ann Ely asked how did I get the Designer Paper to "stay" in the case … once you slip it in (photo above) and close the case and the paper forms the creases at the spine, it really stays.. no need to worry about it moving. If you were worried about it moving, you could certainly put a glue dot at the top or bottom on the back side (so it won't show) and it will hold it.
Above: these are the 2 variations I made with lots of Painted Autumn Designer paper patterns

What do you think!? I think they turned out sooo pretty!!!

Hi Patty,
I just love the new color lemon lime. I like to use the bright colors for birthday cards. Hope I am picked to win this time.
I would totally love to win the paper pumpkin blog candy.
Hi Patty,
I would love to win the paper pumpkin blog candy. I have recently gotten my daughter interested in stamping but she complains she doesn’t have many stamps. Since she doesn’t make a lot of money I would love to give her this to help her be able to do more stamping.
Genius! Oh my goodness, I can’t wait to make one of these or should I say several of these. You come up with the best ideas. Thank you for sharing!
I would love to win. Have never had kits so would be like Christmas to me. Nanci Collier in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Love your videos.
Where did you find the notepad?
Hello Patty,
This is truly a great gift idea for many different occasions. Thanks so much for sharing. I am excited to receive the holiday catalog. I sure will be very busy making these.
I, too, would love to know where you got the notepads. Looked all around here and can’t find them.
