I had fun stamping the bird and flower images from the Color Me Happy stamp set to start practicing my coloring, blending and shading with the new Stampin' Blends markers. ABOVE: birds and flowers from the Color Me Happy set. Greeting from So Many Shells set.
Per the recommendation of Stampin' Up!, I stamped the images on Thick Whisper White cardstock with my Memento Black in pad, and let them dry then colored with my Stampin' Blends markers.
As you can see, I die cut the birds using my Stitched Shape framelits, then added them to thick Whisper White Note Cards for clean and simple greeting cards. The birds are from the Color Me Happy set, the flowers are from the Falling Flowers stamp set, and the greeting is in the So Many Shells set.
I just stamped with Memento Black ink onto Thick Whisper White for these samples, but Stampin' Up! is offering an amazing kit for trying out the Stampin' Blends and creating 16 greeting cards with fancy envelopes!
