Possibly my Most Favorite Card EVER

I think I may have created my most favorite card EVER…. can you guess which one below is my favorite?

I made both of these cards by coloring with my Stampin' Blends markers onto Petal Passion black and white designer paper!

For the card above, I colored with the Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends markers on the designer paper in the background, then layered a piece of Vellum cardstock over it to soften the boldness, and added the Thank You and die cut flowers.  I colored the Thank You with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends and the flowers from the Petal Palette stamp set with the Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  The card base is Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and I LOVE how it really makes the colors pop and feel so fresh!

The Thank You stamp is found in an "online only" set (it's not in any catalog yet). The set is called Color Me Happy and can be found HERE in my online store for wood mount, or HERE for clear mount..  I stamped it onto Thick Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink, then colored them with each of the pairs of Stampin' Blends markers!

They are die cut with the Stitched Shape oval framelit die.  The shadow on each Thank You is colored with the light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends marker.

The set and kit are available separately or as a bundle.  See the BOTTOM of this post for all online store links.

When adding vellum to your project, it's best to use adhesive where you know something else will cover it, so I added adhesive right in the center under the oval "thank you" and the flower die cut.

Add vellum on top of any design to soften the colors and bold patterns.

The card below also features coloring on the Petal Passion designer paper with Stampin' Blends with Cherry Cobbler and Real Red cardstock.  I finished off the card with a piece of Pear Pizzazz shimmery ribbon.

  1. Those cards are just gorgeous Patty! It says a lot that this is your most favorite card ever, because you make TONS of cards and many of them are beautiful 🙂 I’m definitely going to try out coloring the DSP but I know my results won’t be nearly as stunning as yours! Happy Weekend 🙂
