I love sharing craft room organizing tips with you!! I love finding new ways to organize my stamping and crafting supplies.  When I find something that really works well for me, I love sharing that idea with you.  If it works for you, great!   If you have another system in place, great – leave me a comment and tell me all about it! 🙂

I know you don't come here to see the "mess" so I'll just share the "after" photos of my newly organized box for storing parts and pieces that were all over my desk!  I bought this container at The Container Store (info below) and LOVE the sections of this container AND that it's wide enough to fit a card front or folded card/envelope!

 Organization tips for Card Makers:

Organizing Tips for Crafters and Card Makers featuring a 4 section Linus Packet Organizer from the Container Store.

I have 2 of these 4-section Linus Packet Organizers shown above (details below).

LEFT:  this one holds all of my essentials like Stampin' Dimensionals, pearls, doilies, gems, glitter dots, rhinestones, etc.

RIGHT: this one holds all the miscellaneous pieces that were scattered in containers all around my desk.  I have a section for pieces that will be used on a card, a section for partially completed cards, a section for card ideas, and in back, a section of stamped images ready to color.

I used my DYMO labeler to label dividers.  You can see file folder supplies from Staples that I used for the DIVIDERS IN THIS POST.

 Die Cut Storing Tip:

Below:  This is another great time saver/organizer I have in my craft room.  I also got this container at the Container store (this one was from a few years ago), and I was storing my essentials like dimensionals, pearls, rhinestones, etc., in it.. but I found it works so well for my stash of die cut pieces!!!!!!!

You may be asking why do I have so many die cuts?  I make 50 to 70 of each card design for customer thank you cards several times a month, so having this stash of die cuts is a huge time saver!  I do have a wonderful neighbor that helps me by doing some bulk die cutting, and it works out well for both of us!!

 Last Tip:

I have a little container for all the tiny extra die cut pieces that end up on my table.. then I go through it often to add that little extra special touch to a project!  This is just a Dollar Store plastic dish.. it doesn't have to be anything fancy, but I do find that "see through" is helpful for me.
