Create a JOY banner for your Christmas home decor this year! I used Stampin’ UP! Christmas paper crafting products and the Large Letters Alphabet framelit dies to create this at a recent Craft Your Christmas Retreat by Ruth Bingle! It was designed by Amy Combs!
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to create a hanging banner or framed piece with the 3 pieces side by side. Below, you can see it as a hanging banner. Which one would you do?
Dimensions / Supplies:
- cardstock base: 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- designer paper layer: 3″ x 5″ – Under the Mistletoe designer paper (#146921)
- oval: largest Stitched Shape Oval (#145372)
- scalloped oval: from Layering Ovals framelits (#141706)
- letters: Large Letter Framelits (#141712)

Good morning Patty,
I love it… I like it both ways but I think my preference would be to hang it. The only reason is because I have the perfect place to hang it.lol….
Have a great day
Ah yes, makes perfect sense… if you have a vertical spot or not to hang it!!! Glad you liked the idea!
I’m reading the Bloglovin’ post and no pictures of the banner were displayed. This is the first time I’ve had any issues with your post. Any suggestions?
I love your work and look forward to the post each morning. You’re AMAZING!
Sorry, I don’t know anything about Bloglovin’. Perhaps contact them?
I love this project, I am working on one for my door! I love the vertical the best, but both are beautiful! :<)
Thank you for featuring my Alaska Cruise swap, my JOY banner on your Blog! Giving credit to the original creator is always nice and oh so appreciated!
