Needle & Thread Stampin' UP! Card Idea

I have fond memories of learning just about every embroidery stitch, tip and trick when I was young, spending countless hours with my needle & thread with my mom and grandma. I think that’s why I love this Stampin’ Up! Needlepoint Nook suite of products so much!! The detail is amazing in the stamps and the designer paper pack and really looks like totally real embroidery stitching!

I used the Needle & Thread stamp set and matching Needlepoint Elements framelit dies (available at a 10% Bundle Discount #150626) and I also used the Needlepoint Nook designer paper #148807, the Old Olive Linen Thread #148811 and Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons #148810 on my card today.

Below is my Stampin’ UP! Color Combo for this card. Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Powder Pink and Berry Burst. I took the color idea from the Needlepoint Nook designer paper pack.

The large die cut floral piece behind the die cut flowers is from the Stitched Labels Framelits die #146828, on pg 220 in the Annual catalog. I die cut the Needlepoint Nook Designer Paper with the big label die in that set and I love how it looks! Each flower and leaf image is stamped on Whisper White and and die cut with the matching framelits in the bundle.

I know it’s difficult to see, but the 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Petal Pink cardstock is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. It gives the cardstock a bit of a “fabric” feel.
