Thank you for your kind comments on my blog, on Facebook and YouTube about my teapot cards yesterday! So glad you enjoyed the Tea Together cards with the Floral Romance Vellum (here). Today I am showcasing the other two Tea Together cards featuring colored flowers my Stampin’ Blends markers, from the video yesterday.
I stamped the Tea Together teapot stamp with Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and die cut it with the Tea Time framelits in my Big Shot. The Stamp set is on page 49 of the 2019 Occasions catalog (or #148779 online) and the framelits are on page 17 of the Sale-a-Bration brochure and are a free gift choice with your $100 Stampin’ Up! order!! See them here: #149697
Line or No Line?
I’ve wanted to try “no line watercoloring” for awhile now.. and I decided to try it on this project, but by coloring with my Stampin’ Blends markers, and not painting with watercolors. I explained it in the VIDEO HERE, but you can see the difference below, in stamping the flowers with black ink vs with Flirty Flamingo ink.
What do you think? I like both, but personally like the black outline better.
I used the Lovely Lattice stamp inked in Flirty Flamingo ink stamped on the folded card base, then added a 4″x5-1/4″ piece of cardstock vellum over that, then added the teapot and flowers. The Lovely Lattice set is another Sale-a-Bration 2019 FREE set offering. See it HERE.
I used the Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends markers to add the light green shading on the teapot below.
The birthday greeting below is from the Humming Along stamp set and stamped onto a die cut label from my Rose Trellis thinlit dies set. All of these supplies are available in my online store by clicking on any of the product photos at the bottom of my blog post. Thank you for your order!

Tfs Frenchie ♥️
thank you Frenchiee!
Love these cards as well. Oh, now I see the difference with the watercolor lineless look. I love that look but I think the leaves colored green would look better too. But, thanks for the lesson and I will try it. Makes the tea pot look like porcelain!
So glad you enjoyed the tips and comparison! 🙂
Am working on the tea together cards today. And my addition to the beautiful cards you made is that I added a pocket on the inside of the card in co-ordinating paper and inserted a tea bag!
Hope some of you like this idea. I have done it with other cards, like get Well, etc. and have had people request that I make some like it for them to send out!
