Can you believe this gorgeous hummingbird and hibiscus stamp set is on the RETIRING Stamp Set list!? I love this set and had so much fun coloring the images!! I gold embossed the outline images and then watercolored with Stampin’ Up! ink and an Aqua Painter. Find the RETIRING Humming Along stamp set HERE.
This is a super easy way to watercolor.. just “smoosh” clear blocks onto the ink pads of your choice, then use the Aqua Painter to pick up the color and apply to the watercolor paper.
Just play with the color… keep layering the color until you like the result. Let it dry just a bit between colors if you don’t want them to blend too much.

I used the NEW In Color Terracotta Tile ink to stamp Happy Birthday on the card above, and added the watercolored image to a top fold Grapefruit Grove card base.
With Sympathy and the Happy Birthday greetings are from the Better Together stamp set here.
I stamped the sympathy image with the NEW In Color Pretty Peacock on the card below, and layered it onto a top fold Call Me Clover card base.
I added some Glitter Enamel dots to each card.. I wasn’t sure if they really needed it.. but the glitter enamel dots really never hurt 🙂

I love the embossing and the colors . It’s just me but it seams to time consuming. I’m not home a lot so I do simple.lol… but your card is very stunning. When I have the time I will try it.Thanks for sharing.
