Have you discovered the amazingness of the Bird Ballad Laser cut cards? They are stunning and so easy to use! I combined a stamped and colored image from the Free as a Bird stamp set with some Bird Ballad designer paper for this pretty card!
Hot Tip!
Punch out a circle of cardstock and adhere it to the inside of the laser cut card with Snail Adhesive, then add your focal point – in this case a die cut from the Wild Rose dies – to the front, then your adhesive is sandwiched between the 2 layers! If you layer a colored piece of cardstock inside the folded card, the recipient will be able to enjoy the beauty of the laser-cut details when opening the card!
I stamped the birds on a branch image from the Free as a Bird set onto the stitched die cut from the Wild Rose dies, using Memento Black ink, then colored them with the Stampin’ Blends markers shown in the tip sheet download above, and also in the product photos at the bottom of this post. I also fussy cut some flower images from the Bird Ballad designer paper to add to the card front. Then I gave it a little bling with the Noble Peacock Rhinestones in the flower centers.
The Bird Ballad Laser-cut cards come in this gorgeous tin, which can be reused in the craft room or to wrap up a gift!

Good morning Patty,
Your card is very pretty… I havent had a chance to use the laser cut cards yet since I’ve been on vacation all week so I’m hoping tomorrow to make some cards.I want to make some with the Free As A Bird stamp set. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Off Topic, per my usual.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! I just noticed the August Paper Pumpkin picture on the website. i’ts purple and gorgeous. I just wish they wouldn’t keep it a secret what the Paper Pumpkins are. As soon as they know, we should know. Mine is already ordered, as I was thinking it would be a Thanksgiving/Autumn theme but I’m much more excited that it’s Halloween themed.
Wonderful share Patty. You always give so much. Thx. You
the tin is lovely, but making cards such as this one, for the tin will make an exceptionally beautiful gift, if need be.
