On my morning walk the other day, I decided I was going to take an hour during the day and JUST STAMP, and use some supplies I had not used yet. I pulled out my Perennial Essence designer paper, the Detailed Bands dies, Purple Posy cardstock, and my thick Whisper White Note Cards. These note cards turned out so pretty and soft!!
To make these cards, follow the graphic below and cut off 1-1/8″ from the right front of the thick Whisper White Note card, then cut a piece of Perennial Essence designer paper at 2-2/8″ x 5″ and apply it to the note card front. Die cut the Detailed Bands piece from Purple Posy cardstock, and the label piece from Whisper White. Layer them together as shown below in this blog post.
When you follow my tip above and cut off 1-1/8″ from the right front side of the note card, the Detailed Bands die will fit perfectly on the card front and into the envelope. Line up the bottom edge as shown and adhere it to the front as shown in #2 below!
I stamped the greeting from the Rare Blessings set onto one of the die cuts from the Detailed Bands die set.
The Detailed Bands dies are #149549 online, and found on pages 192 and 121 in the Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog.
I really didn’t know what color I wanted to stamp my greeting… so…. I used 4 different colors!! Rich Razzleberry, Rococo Rose, Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock!! I think they all look wonderful, but the Rich Razzleberry turned out to be my fave.
After fussy cutting the flowers from the Perennial Essence paper, I wasn’t sure what leaves I wanted to use. I had not used the Rare Blessings set yet, so I thought why not stamp those leaves in Memento ink, and color them with Stampin’ Blends markers to add to my cards? What do you think? I love how they turned out!
2 final touches include: Adding Wink of Stella to the fussy cut flowers, and then adding the Noble Peacock rhinestones to each card!
