Shaker cards are so much fun and especially fun to receive! We made this Wish for it All shaker card at a recent all day Stampin’ UP! retreat hosted by Kurstan! I love this card!
This is a sweet little Note Card size with 3 of the candles die cut in a 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ Whisper White front panel. The acetate (window) sheet is adhered behind the candle openings, and then we used Foam Adhesive Strips to make a little “wall” around each candle. The Iridescent Sequin Assortment and Woven Threads Sequin assortments were both used for the Shaker Bits in this card.
The 3 candles were die cut with the See a Silhouette designer paper and glued on top of the window sheet. Using a sponge and Multipurpose Liquid glue is the easiest way to glue detailed die cuts like this.

Not only did I spill my Iridescent sequins once.. I spilled them THREE TIMES on my work space… seriously!? ugh!!
We used the “Wish for it All” greeting from the stamp set on the cute banner die cut to finish off this card!! Great Job Kurstan.. Loved this fun birthday card!!!

Love the shaker card idea! Is there an easy way to attach the card base, since the shaker panel adhesive is face up? Or do you attach a backing panel before attaching to the card base?
Elaine.. you brought up a GREAT point and a good solution to my frustration.. it WAS hard to get that notecard centered on there.. so YES, a 2nd piece for a backing would have been PERFECT, THEN flip it over onto the note card!! yay!! I will try that next time!!
