I hope you enjoy this Classic Christmas Cardinal card featuring the Stampin’ UP! Toile Tidings designer paper, the Toile Christmas bundle, Tidings All Around bundle, and Puff Paint! I designed this card for our recent Luv 2 Stamp Group Christmas Crafting day event! We used several coloring and shading techniques on this card as well as some fun Puff Paint to look like snow on the die cut wreath!
See the ENTIRE Toile Tidings Suite of Christmas Papercrafting Products in my online store HERE!
Above: After stamping the Christmas Cardinal in Real Red ink, Use your Blender Pen to move some of the ink and blend in the shadows, then go over it with Wink of Stella. Color the face with the Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends marker and add Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends ink to the beak.
Below: To give a snowy effect on the die cut wreath, apply Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, heat with your heat tool, and voila.. fun snowy effect!!!
The wreath is die cut with Garden Green cardstock and the wreath die in the All-Around Wreath Dies set #150641. I added “red berries” to my wreath – they are from the Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dot package #150433.

DIe cut a Stitched Rectangle with Whisper White cardstock, stamp the branch in Memento Black ink, and color with Stampin’ Blends markers. Stamp the Christmas Wishes banner stamp on Whisper White cardstock in Real Red ink and die cut with the banner die in the Toile Christmas Bundle. SAVE 10% when ordering bundles!!! Get yours HERE! Add the banner and Christmas Cardinal to the card, over the wreath. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals for lots of dimension and interest.
