Dino Days Shaker Card Instructions

Shaker Card Time!! Let’s have fun with a Dino Days Shaker Card!! Create this card for a baby card, or change the greeting and make a cute birthday card for your favorite birthday person!

I attended a Shaker Card Class a few months ago, and Kurstan instructed us on how to make several kinds of shaker cards. Below are the supplies for our Dino Days shaker card (I forgot to include the Foam Strips in the photo). You can find ALL of the supplies HERE or at the bottom of my blog post.

How to make the Shaker Card:

Die cut the egg shape from the Dino Days Bundle in Whisper White cardstock, add Tear & Tape around the edges of the opening, then add a piece of Window Sheet to cover the opening.
Add Foam Adhesive Strips around the perimeter of the die cut opening, being sure to “seal” all the edges (don’t let your sequins out!)
Fill with sequins as desired
Place a 4×4 piece of Dinoroar paper on the folded base card
Add Foam Adhesive Strips around the DSP and base card as shown in #5 below
Peel strips off of the foam tape and adhere the 2 layers together to create your cute Dino Days Shaker Card!

ABOVE and BELOW: Isn’t that just the BEST TIP!? Kurstan taught us this at her shaker card class!! You can remove the stickiness from any adhesive backed enamel shape by tapping it on your embossing buddy several times, then you can use them as “shaker bits” in your shaker card!!! BRILLIANT!!!!

To finish off the front of the shaker card, we die cut a frame from the Dino Days designer paper with the Stitched Rectangle dies, then stamped clouds and greeting on the front!
