This Christmas I decided to make gifts for some of my friends and family. One of the gifts I made is a Gratitude Journal, using the Stampin’ UP! Pressed Petals Journal. I decorated the cover and several inside pages with the Christmastime is Here Designer Paper. I love how they turned out and I hope the recipients enjoy recording thoughts, praises, lists of gratitude or other memories in 2020!
The beautiful Christmas Rose image (above) is one of the preprinted designs on the Christmastime is Here paper. I used the coordinating Roses Dies to easily die cut these images. You could also cut them out by hand.
In addition to the die cut rose, I used the Christmas Layers dies and Garden Green cardstock and Gold Foil paper to create the sprigs. I also decorated the gratitude journal cover with the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and Gold Ribbon and Pretty Peacock/Old Olive Reversible ribbon. Check out ALL of these Stampin’ UP! products in my online store, or click any of the product photos at the bottom of this post to shop!

If you have not seen one of these Pressed Petals Journals, I’m sharing the inside 2 page spreads here. I’ve added some of the Christmastime is Here designer paper to some of the pages, and the other pages are already printed as shown below.
Looking for the Pressed Petals Gratitude Journal? Find it on Page 170, #149588 here in my online store.
This is a great gift and could be used for lots of different journaling prompts. You don’t need to do any decorating on the inside of the journal, but I enjoyed adding a few pieces of the Christmastime is Here paper to coordinate with the decorated cover.

Absolutely beautiful and a wonderful idea!
Sweet! I take it the inside pages are sturdy enough to embellish without warping? Did you use snail to adhere dsp to inside pages.
I made one decorating the cover only and it was lovely and well received. Thank you for these ideas. Merry Christmas!
Yes, quite sturdy and yes, snail on the inside. I used Liquid Multipurpose glue on the front since it’s deeply embossed. Glad you like it!! Thank you!
Thank you Wendy!
