Cherry Blossom Laser-cut cards and decorated tin

The final projects I wanted to share with you from my presentation over the weekend is this Bird Ballad laser-cut card tin decorated for a wedding gift! Wouldn’t this be gorgeous for a bride and groom!?  I simply wrapped the tin with 5/8″ Petal Pink Organdy ribbon, and added a tag I created with the cherry blossoms from the Forever Blossoms Bundle.  All of these Stampin’ UP! papercrafting products are available in my online store here or by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.

I created several beautiful cards using the laser-cut cards and envelopes from inside the tin.  These cards are decorated with the stamped and die cut cherry blossoms from the Forever Blossoms Bundle and embellished with rhinestones.  Find the Bird Ballad Laser-cut card tin here.

Above & Below:  Check out the difference of adhering cardstock to the inside back of the laser-cut card as shown here with Blushing Bride cardstock, vs., adhering it to the front laser cut panel (scroll down… )

Above & Below: Adhering cardstock to the laser-cut front of the card provides a very different feel, doesn’t it?  I kind of like the shadow and depth that adhering cardstock to the inside of the card provides.. but I love them both!

Both cherry blossom laser-cut cards in this post feature a die cut from the Stitched so Sweetly die set #151690, and the greeting above (from the Heartfelt stamp set) is stamped onto a small stitched rectangle die cut, also from the Stitched so Sweetly die set.

Tag below:  Very Vanilla tag is found in the Bonanza Dies, and I stamped a greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto a die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Champagne Rhinestones finish off this gorgeous tin and tag.
