Coloring the Jar of Flowers images with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers is just like a little slice of Heaven for me. I love to color. And I was surprised at how much I love the new Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends marker on these flowers!!!
Above: I also used the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends marker to color some of the Purple Posy Playing with Patterns Resin dots!
Below: This version was created before the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends were available. I used the (then current) Lovely Lipstick blends.
I stamped the floral image from Jar of Flowers 3 times with Memento Black ink, on Whisper White Cardstock, colored the flowers and leaves, then cut some of the individual flowers out and layered them on top of the 1st image. This creates a fun very full bouquet of flowers for this card! The base card is a Flowers for All Seasons Memories & More Magenta Madness card.
Let’s Celebrate You is found in the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set #152517, and it stamped onto a die cut from the Tasteful Labels dies. The Jar of Flowers set is found in the same Flowers for Every Season Suite!
Above: before we could order the new Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends markers, I used the Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends (now retired). I thought they looked pretty good, until I got my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends markers (shown below) and WOW! What a difference!! 🙂 If you don’t have Lovely Lipstick blends or the new Magenta Madness you could also try Melon Mambo.
I colored some of the Playing With Patterns Resin dots with my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends marker and wow.. so pretty!! It just ties in the color so nicely!!!
