Snowflake Wishes Cards with Rainbow Glimmer Paper

This turned out to be a VERY Happy Accident!!! I started out making these Stampin’ Up! customer thank you cards using the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper for the die cut snowflakes, but I ran out… so, I switched to die cutting the snowflakes for my Snowflake Wishes cards using the Rainbow Glimmer Paper! Aren’t they amazing!?

The card design idea came from an online class I participated in but I can’t remember who created this idea. This card features several card making products from the Snowflake Splendor Suite including the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, Snowflake Splendor designer paper and the Snowflake Wishes Bundle. As I mentioned, I started making these with the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper, but then switched to the Rainbow Glimmer paper when I ran out. I love how they all turned out!!

Make the Snowflake Wishes Cards:

Card Base: Whisper White 4-1/4 x 5-1/2″ folded card
Embossed layer: Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ die cut with So Many Snowflakes dies, THEN embossed with the Winter Snow Embossing folder
Designer Paper layer: 3″ x 4″ piece of Snowflake Splendor paper behind die cut opening
Snowflakes: die cut with So Many Snowflakes dies in either (or both) Balmy Blue Glimmer paper and Rainbow Glimmer paper

I mailed dozens of these Snowflake Wishes Cards to customers in October with their thank you gift. Hope everyone enjoyed them!!

I used glue dots to attach the die cut snowflakes to the cards.. I actually used up 2 entire rolls plus part of a 3rd!!!! Glue dots available here.

I tried to pair up the hues in the Snowflake Splendor paper with the colors in the glimmer snowflakes. It was fun creating these beautiful Christmas cards!
