I wish each and every one of you could see this card in person. It is not easy to photograph the gorgeous copper and gold foiling on this floral sheet from the Simply Elegant designer paper pack!! Adding Gold Gilded Leafing to the torn edge truly creates a gorgeous, yet simple touch of elegance! This card would be perfect for a wedding!
How to apply Gold Gilded Leafing the easy way!
- tear your paper – I’ve used Simply Elegant designer paper from Stampin’ Up!
- squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid glue onto a scrap or Silicone Mat, dab a sponge or sponge dauber into the glue
- apply glue to torn edge – a little goes a long way.. apply the glue as if you were trying to LIGHTLY add ink to the torn edge
- dip the glued edge into your container of Gilded Leafing, press
- use an old paint brush, a clean sponge or fingers to whisk away excess leafing
- done
TIP: I put a little of my gilded leafing flakes into a plastic container .. you can see it above

I stamped the greeting from the Elegantly Said stamp set in Basic Gray ink onto a die cut from my favorite Scalloped Contours die set. If you’ve watched my videos, you know I love to pop up my die cut pieces with Foam Adhesive sheet pieces:)
My final touch was to cut out 2 flowers from the Simply Elegant designer paper with my Paper Snips, add them to the card and then tie a bow with the gold trim in this suite!
