Brush up on your Ink Blending skills with Tips for using Stampin’ UP! Blending Brushes!! I have a fun video for you today, with some great tips that helped me to achieve a smooth blend of colors on my Delicate Dahlias Cards!
Stampin’ UP! blending brushes are really amazing!! I was so excited to learn this amazing tip for getting a smooth blend of colors on my card projects! Thank you Cindy from the Stampin’ UP! Concept Art Team for sharing your tips recently!! I put them into practice and love the results!
The Sale-a-Bration Delicate Dahlias stamp set was the first thing I tried with this ink blended card. It’s a free gift choice with your $100 or more online order!! I stamped the outlines in Memento black ink, and the leaves in Granny Apple Green and the extra flowers with Mango Melody and Poppy Parade.
As you will see in my video, I used 2″ wide Post-It brand Removeable Labeling Tape to mask off the area of my card front that I didn’t want inked.
The colors I ink blended with on these cards are Mango Melody and Poppy Parade. All of the Stampin UP! products are available by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of my post. Thank you for selecting me as your demonstrator.
The best part of making these cards is peeling off the masking tape to reveal the gorgeous ink blended area!
Isn’t is just gorgeous!!!??
For a bit simpler of a design, I used only 2 extra Dahlia flowers, and added a greeting stamped on a die cut tag from Tailor Made Tags.
And if you’d like an even simpler version, after blending the ink and removing the Post-it brand tape, simply stamp the large dahlia in Memento Black ink, the leaf outline in Granny Apple Green, and add a greeting!
I hope you will enjoy the ink blending tips in my video below!! It truly made a difference in my ink blending results!!
