I’m also excited to share this gorgeous shaker card with you today!!  It features the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack, Blackberry Beauty designer paper, Be Dazzling glitter paper (Sale-a-Bration item), and the Sequins for Everything pack plus the Subtle Shimmer Sequins.  All supplies available in my online Stampin’ Up! store! The frame for the shaker card, shown below, is right out of the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera pack. Simply add your window sheet, and Foam Adhesive Strips to it before placing it over the little pile of sequins on your card base!

You may have heard me talk about these great storage jars before.. I love the Crafty Storage Jars from Stamp-n-Storage!

The beautiful oak leaf is also a die cut from the Ephemera pack.  Friend is stamped onto a white tag using the stamp in the Pretty Pumpkins set and an Early Espresso maker and the omitting technique – only inking the word friend.

The finishing touches for this shaker card are copper Brushed Metallic dots and a Linen Thread bow.  Thanks to Melanie for this fantastic design!

  1. I have made shaker cards and enjoy sending them! Especially to kids! I do have some difficulties keeping the static low and keeping the shaker items in the center off the space until put together!

  13. Shaker cards are lots of fun and have progressed over the years—the new idea of using clear envelopes works great and it lots easier than earlier versions with the foam tape to make the “shaker” space!!

I think I just forgot, because there are so many other ideas out there that I want to try. But your post and video have jogged my creative juices again. Thank you! Always love your ideas!

  25. I’ve made several and using the stampin up foam adhesives really make it much easier and more successful than using other foam adhesive.
    This card is lovely!
