Thank you for joining me yesterday as we created these Christmas Cards on my live Stampin’ Blends coloring video!
You know I love to color and I wanted to try 2 different color combos for the Words of Cheer set. Which one to you like better?
Coloring Option #1:
For Stampin’ Blends coloring option #1 I used Flirty Flamingo and Real Red for the flowers and the cool greens listed below for the foliage. After I die cut the Words of Cheer image, I added it to an Evening Evergreen card base stamped with the Festive Foliage background stamp in Evening Evergreen.
Crafting Tip:
When die cutting lots of little pieces, I prefer to add them directly to a roll of glue dots so they are ready to use and don’t go wandering all over my crafting table!
Do you have a preference for the Festive Foliage stamp? I love it in all the greens!!
Be sure to Watch the Video at the bottom of this post to see my tips for using this stamp in the Stamparatus. If you are new to the Stamparatus, watch my video series for lots of tips here! You’ll be amazed at all the cool things you can do with it!
Coloring Option #2:
For Stampin’ Blends coloring option #2, I used Real Red and Cherry Cobbler on the flowers, and the greens listed below for the foliage. I die cut the floral image using the matching die in the Words of Cheer bundle and added it to a Granny Apple Green card base stamped with Granny Apple Green and the Festive Foliage background stamp.
I also added Wink of Stella to the “berries” and to the tips of each flower petal for a little pop of wow!
What do you think? Evening Evergreen above? or Granny Apple Green below?

I’m not much help! I like them both! The Granny Apple green card has more “life” to it, though.
