As I pondered what to post today, of course I want to say how thankful I am for each and every one of you who come to visit me here each day! I also wanted to share a throwback memory from Thanksgiving and as I looked through my old family photos, I came across this photo of “The Kids Table” from Thanksgiving 2003.
It just made me smile. The memories of sitting at the kids table in the 1960’s with my cousins… and then looking at this photo of Jason with his cousins at the Kids Table.
Is this a universal thing?
Anyone else have memories of “The Kids Table”?
My favorite memory of sitting at the kids table was putting olives on each of our fingers and pretending they were little puppets, talking to each other, then eating them all!! My most terrifying childhood Thanksgiving memory was spilling a glass of milk all over at my aunt and uncle’s house… I felt so bad… ugh!!
Wherever you are, whoever you are with today, I pray that you are blessed, happy, healthy and enjoying your day!!
Blessings,
The Bennett family
Happy Thanksgiving to you Patty and your family. I am Thankful, Grateful, Blessed. Enjoy your family.
YES! Me too! Never have I laughed so hard as being goofy at the kid’s table!
Wishing you love, laughter, and great memories past and present.
We used to joked with the old people that had to sit at the “big” table. Then we grew up and had to sit at the “big” table. Some how we had become the old peope!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. The pictures looks like all my memories. I once sat at the kitchen table with all my cousins, then graduated to the living room as adults. It is still the same here these days.
I’m grateful for you and your ability to share your wonderful creativity! YES, I remember sitting at the “kid’s” table so well. Good memories.
Happy Thanksgiving!
