This beautiful yet simple Z Fold Card features 3 different patterns from the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Symbols of Fortune designer paper package!!
If you’ve never made a Z fold card before, you are in for a treat because it’s SUPER easy.
- cut a card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ ( I used Thick Basic White)
- score in half at 4-1/4″ and fold
- score the front flap at 2-1/8″ and fold backwards per the photo above
- decorate each section as desired
I elected to add a doily to the front but also to the inside as shown so that the white side would show front and back. This was a colored doily from the Heart & Home Doilies pack. Doubling it up also gave it more stability. I used my Layering Circle dies to find a good size and die cut a circle from the Symbols of Fortune paper to add one more beautiful pattern from this package.
Symbols of Fortune paper available online.
My card was inspired by Melanie Hockin!
I fussy cut one chrysanthemum from the designer paper to add even more of the lovely Calypso Coral color to the card.
The final touch was a die cut from the Seasonal Labels dies stamped with thank you from the Happy & Heartfelt set, and some Polished dots.
