Easy Tags – Version 1 with Very Best Trio Punch
Step 1: cut your paper to desired width and height. I used 2-1/4″ wide x 6 tall, folded in 1/2.
Step 2: Punch slit at top with Very Best Trio punch
Step 3: Punch 2 top corners with Very Best Trio punch
Above & Below: depending on which corner punch you use, you get a different detail! See the video at the bottom of this post for all the details!
Step 4: stamp greetings and focal pieces, or punch or die cut from designer paper and decorate your tags!
Gift Tag Samples with Very Best Trio Punch:
Die cutting the candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas designer paper is a quick way to decorate Christmas gift tags. If you need the candy cane a little longer, check out the tip below!
Don’t forget the embellishments… I love the Seasonal Sequins in gold for this tag!

I wanted to make cute borders on my tags, to mimic the Celebrations Tag dies, and I came up with lots of fun dies in my stash to use, like the Scalloped Contour dies, Basic Borders dies and Deckled rectangle dies!!!

Love these tags! I made them with retired Noble Peacock DSP in blueberry bushel, old olive and pretty peacock which are also one sided. I also used the retired curvy Corner Trio punch! I loved seeing you improvise with other products which got my own creative juices flowing
