Right before we left for our Alaska Crafting Cruise, I sent out a couple weeks of customer Thank You Cards, and thought I’d share it with you. I think these cards turned out so pretty!!
These birthday card ideas feature the Stampin’ UP! Splendid Day specialty designer paper, and the Painted Posies embossing folder!
This stunning combination of Night of Navy, white, copper or gold are just stunning together.
The base card is Thick Basic White (4-1/4″ x 11″ folded in 1/2), the embossed Night of Navy is 4″ x 5-1/14″, and the Splendid Day strips are 2″ x 5-1/4″. I matted the specialty paper strips with a 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Basic White.
All supplies are available by clicking the product photos at the bottom of this post.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Cynthia Ross on my team.. my designer inspiration came from a card she shared on our Luv 2 Stamp Group Facebook Group!
The birthday greeting stamps I used are from the Shaded Summer and Amazing Year stamp sets. You can purchase these in my online store!

Thank You so much for the beautiful gift, It was so nice of you! I really appreciated it.
So glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Patty. These are beautiful. What adhesive did you use on the back of the splendid day DSP that didn’t show through on the front side? I used tombow liquid glue and you could see it through o the front side. Thanks.
I used Seal and put it on the WHITE cardstock layer, then put the foil on.. then nothing showed through. 🙂
Hi Patty, did you use this same design for all of the cards or did you use the other designs that are in the pack of specialty DSP? I love the cards. So pretty.
I just used those 2 designs for these particular cards.
