Coloring with Stampin’ Blends markers can be really quick and simple, or you can get pretty detailed and add lots of shading, blending, colors, depth and dimension with them.
Either way, they are my favorite coloring medium!! I’ve colored the Stampin’ Up! Coffee with Friends set images for my card today, while taking an online Coloring Masterclass from Barry & Jay.
Look at the variety of Stampin’ Blends colors Jay taught us to use to color this image!! Like I mentioned above, you can use fewer colors, make it pretty simple when you color, or, try out lots of shades to create lots of detail!
I’ll list all the colors below in my product links.
As I’ve shared in my Stampin’ Blends coloring lessons and when I do watercoloring or ink blending with you, my goal is to create contrast with light and dark, shading and shadow. I love the effect of using a range of colors to produce the contrast of lights and darks.
For my card today, I’ve die cut the deckled circle die in the Pecan Pie polkadot pattern from the Regals 6×6 paper stack to frame my colored image. I stamped hello from the Biggest Wish set in Pecan Pie ink, and used Misty Moonlight for the cardstock base and envelope flap. I really love brown and blue together.. I think it’s a striking combo.

WOW Patty! You did a marvelous job coloring. After you had previously recommened that coloring class, I took it too. Sadly, my work images looked pretty bad. I’m going to have to practive a LOT!
These cards are simply amazing! I love what you’ve done with these cars, Patty.
Patty, I love your style..the cards you make are wonderful.
I signed up under Brandy Cox a couple of years ago, so I’m a Hobbyist demonstrater and make cards for myself to send to family and friends as well as participate in my Methodist Church Grace Notes group (we make cards to send every month to our homebound members).
Hello Patty
I had a horrible time sending the coupons for the coupons I earned. I spent every day trying to figure it out. Calling for help led to everyone being busy. I you get a chance can you send me a message how you send in you coupons. I know what it said, but nothing worked for me. I’m going to try to call Stampin up this week, and try to talk to them. I know it’s too late but next time maybe I can figure it out.
I wish you would have contacted me for help. At this point you’ll need to work it out with Stampin’ Up!
GREAT coloring!
