In August, I helped Tammy celebrate her birthday.. .and knowing that blue is her favorite color, I made her a card with blue flowers! I used the new Stampin’ Up! Abundant Beauty Masks (stencils) and my blending brushes to create her card.
Instead of using the flower center mask that comes with the pack, I just left the centers as a solid blue but then added speckles by flicking my marker in the opening of the mask!!
I layered 3 layers of Misty Moonlight ink on this card to get the various shades of blue, but you can also layer more than one color. The leaves are Shaded Spruce.

I also created this card below with a combo of blue and yellow. It’s similar to the card I made for Tammy but has a little more of a spring vibe. The cute hello is stamped on a die cut from the Delightful Doily dies!

Love the blue. But both are beautiful.
Too hard to choose! Both are gorgeous and use colors/color combinations that I wouldn’t have thought of. Love the technique of leaving the center the same color and “flicking” color on it for a completely different effect. I will go with blue, but love them both.
Trying to choose between these 2 lovely cards is difficult. I love bright colors and the yellow one is stunning but I also like the suttle look of the blue card and the splatter of color on it’s flower centers. The yellow catches my eye though so it’s the yellow one.
Both cards are beautiful. My favorite is the blue flowers. Flicking your marker really adds so much to it!

Blue is my favorite color, but I think I like the yellow and blue card the best. The yellow just adds a pop of color!
The all blue. The darker outer edges/stripes make the blue flowers stand out – just a prettier and more vibrant card .
