Retiring Soon!! Joy of Noel!
I used the swag image from the Joy of Noel set and stamped it 3x with Shaded Spruce ink onto a Deckled Circle die to create a wreath for my Christmas ornament and card!
Don’t miss this great set on the retiring list – see the whole list here.
Below are the colors of Stampin’ Blends markers I used.
After I had the wreath image colored, I wasn’t sure how I wanted to finish it and I looked at my little cup of extra colored and die cut images that I keep on my stamping table, and saw the red truck from the Trucking Along bundle and I thought it was just the cutest way to finish off the ornament!!
Rubber Stamping Tip:
When I have a stamp set and ink out, I like to stamp more than just the image I need for my project. Below, you can see I’ve stamped extra trucks (both Real Red and Sweet Sorbet ink) and the fun little extras that can fit inside the back of the truck.. they are ready for future projects now!
Aren’t these improvised wreath images pretty!!? I love how they turned out. I hope you enjoyed the coloring lesson!!
Below is the card I created using the same deckled circle wreath image, and embellished with the punched bough pieces, but finished with a gold and vanilla ribbon bow and some gold pearls on the wreath. The background is an embossed Sweet Sorbet cardstock piece – the embossing folder is found in the Online Exclusives tab and it’s from the Basics 3D folder selection.
Bonus Card from the Video
Thanks for your help in deciding about the options for this pretty card we made live together! The suggestion to use the Shaded Spruce cardstock with the music note paper from the Stampin’ Up! Joyful DSP was perfect!!
