If you’ve followed me for very long, you know I’m a huge fan of the Stampin’ Up! note cards and envelopes. These precut / prescored note cards measure 3-1/2″ x 5″ when folded and are a lovely smaller size than your regular size card. Note Cards online here.
Check out all these gorgeous patterns – half of them with gold foil detailing – in the new Nature’s Sweetness pack of designer paper from Stampin’ Up! I have used 6 of the patterns in my 2 note cards today!
Details for the Nature’s Sweetness designer paper in the from Stampin’ Up! can be viewed on page 41 of the new January 2024 mini catalog, or in my online store.
4 Patterns of Paper on One project:
Note Card above: background pattern is cut at 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ so that it’s just 1/8″ smaller than the note card, then I’ve layered a Deckled rectangle die cut on top. The top layer is die cut using the Lovely & Sweet dies and the designer paper pattern with the Almond plant image. OPTION: stamp and emboss in gold with the stamp set, then die cut. The 4th pattern is glued to the envelope flap.
Above & below: This note card features a 3-1/2″ x 5″ piece of the Vanilla Bean pattern shown below, glued to the front of the note card. I finished it off with a die cut piece of the vanilla bean pattern featuring the gold foil image in the DSP.
Looking for a fabulous greeting set? I used Layering Leaves. It’s one of my favorites!
Cutting Note:
Just a note about cutting this piece from the Nature’s Sweetness pack… for standard size cards, you’ll cut your piece into 4″ strips and then at 5-1/4″ tall for each one. For this 3-1/2″ x 5″ note card, I trimmed it down from that original size to fit the note card front.
