This time of year is “all over the place” for me in my crafting studio… I feel like one minute I’m dashing to get Fall cards finished, and then the next minute I’m feeling behind getting things ready for Christmas… and I go back and forth for a few months like this. But today, I’m sharing some of the last Fall Card ideas with you, and it’s a Double Diamond card design featuring the Stampin’ Up! Autumn to Remember kit.
Autumn to Remember kit #166502
Below: dimensions to create the Double Diamond card
- Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″, score per below and fold into accordion (mountain / valley) fold style
- DSP for base: 2×4 and 3×4
- Squares: 3″ square cardstock / 2-3/4″ square DSP
- Decorations: circle punch images, and strips of embossed two-tone cardstock
After folding the base card into an accordion fold shape, add the 2×4 and 3×4 DSP to the panels facing forward. Turn the 3×3 squares so they are diamond shapes and align the points with the 2 mountain folds. Attach.
Above/Below: I had left over strips of two-tone cardstock and embossed them with the Leaf Fall embossing folder, then sanded them with a sanding block to reveal the white core.
I wanted some small greetings for the front of these cards, and the Keeping Tabs stamp set was perfect!
Mixing and matching patterns from the Autumn to Remember pack is fun.. they all coordinate! AND.. I loved punching the critters out with my 2-3/8″ circle punch for the focal points!
