The Spinnaker restaurant in Sausalito was a favorite of my moms when they would come to visit us in the San Francisco Bay Area. We enjoyed a delightful brunch and afternoon walking around the town and fondly remembering our amazing mom and dad. 🙂

Canon Selphy Printer
This Canon Selphy printer was highly recommended by my friend Anne Granger in Canada, and I bought it to use for some of my scrapbook layout pages. I like the small portability of the printer, the price, the price per print, and that I can create really any size photo that I need on the fly.
My bonus pages
I wanted to finish up documenting the visit from my brother and his wife, so I created 2 more pages. One layout shares our lovely dinner at Leila’s by the Bay here in Hercules, and the San Francisco Bay waterfront. The 2nd page shares our adventures at the John Muir Historical Site where we toured his home and some of the grounds.
I’ve learned a few things since I started scrapbooking nearly 40 years ago. One of them is… it’s really ok to use a photo that didn’t turn out 100% as you hoped.. it’s better to capture the memory than not have one documented. I’ve also learned that I don’t have to include EVERY photo.. which is a good thing since I take tons of photos, all the time.. of everything. 🙂
In addition to the cardstock, paper and die cuts in the Everyday You and Me kit, I added some paper from the Country Woods designer paper pack as I felt it just added a nice element to these photos.
