I am really happy that you all enjoyed this card layout idea from my Sale-a-Bration video last week.. I call it a collage card.. it’s like creating a collage out of 4 different pieces to form the card front. I used the Fruit Salad 6×6 paper stack – free gift choice – to create these.
Tip for making the collage layout:
I started by cutting a 2″ strip, then cutting a stack of 2×2 pieces (upper right).
Next, from those 2″ wide strips, cut the 2-7/8″ tall piece.. that is your lower right stack.
Repeat this idea, by cutting a 1-5/8″ strip, and cut 3″ tall pieces and 1-7/8″ tall pieces.. those are your stacks on the left.
Cut the white mat at 4″x5-1/4″ and assemble your 4 squares onto the mat, then onto a coordinating base card. See the video HERE. BEST TIP: use multipurpose liquid glue to allow you that extra time to wiggle each piece into perfect position.

Dimensions for my Fruit Salad collage card – fits on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat. See video here.

I pulled out Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Pool Party cardstock for the base, and then decided which color looked best with each collage.

The greetings – Sending You a Big Hug – are from the Hugs for Love set, part of the Hugs for Love bundle with the To the Point Label punch shown below.

Each card also features a fussy cut pineapple or pear, they are from the Fruit Salad paper.

All supplies for these cards are available at the bottom of this post, simply click the product photo to start shopping in my online Stampin’ Up! store. Thank you!

If you need to make a quick stack of cards, this design works with almost any patterned paper and is great for easy mass assembly.

Patty,
You make it look way too easy. Love the cards. I can’t wait to try this out. The collage layout may be one of my favorite layouts now. Especially now that I know where most of small scraps of paper can be used. Thank you so much Patty.
I love these cards! Thank you for showing us how to make them. We will make good use of your fruitful labor, LOL!! I’m also going to try this with Valentine paper! Much love from OK!
Wow, thanks for sharing this great design! I love designs that allow you to easily make multiples with just a little bit of cutting. It looks easy enough to assemble, too. And has a pleasing layout.
Love these!!!!!
