I was actually working on some other projects over the weekend and saw this beautiful rainbow of ink pads on my crafting desk.. I decided it would be so cute to stamp a rainbow of cupcakes for a fun and colorful birthday card!!

The rainbow of ink pad colors I used are: Timid Tiger, Melon Mambo, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel. They coordinate perfectly with the Full of Life paper I was using!
Did you notice the cute rainbow of dots on the cupcakes?? They are from the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots package. I did have to color one to match the Melon Mambo with a Stampin’ Blends marker.
Card dimensions:
- Base card: Blueberry Bushel 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ and folded in 1/2
- Full of Life designer paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Basic White Stamped with rainbow of cupcakes: 1-1/2″ x 5-1/4″
- It’s a Big Day die cut tag from Nested Essentials dies
Stamp sets and all the supplies are listed at the bottom of this post, and available for purchase in my online Stampin’ Up! store.
When making a card with a dark cardstock base like this Blueberry Bushel card, be sure to add a lighter colored layer inside for writing your note.
