When I took my Stampin’ Up! Pattern of Friendship die out of the package, the first thing I thought of was to emboss the Full of Life ombre patterned paper. You can see the designs below and how pretty and unique this die is as it creates a textured background for these simple handmade birthday cards.

The Pattern of Friendship die is a full background die.. reaching nearly the full 6×6 size of the designer paper.
All of these Stampin’ UP! papercrafting supplies are available in my online store by clicking the product photos at the bottom of this post. The only product you’ll need to wait for is the Timid Tiger ink I used for “it’s a big day” below.

Stamping Tip
I stamped directly onto the Full of Life printed ombre paper with the small cupcake stamp then fussy cut them with my Paper Snips. (see above)
Combining the With You in Mind stamp set and the Around it All stamp set allowed me to make simple cards with big bold statements.

I created the same birthday card twice with a textured background and Starburst Sequins but changed up the color combo. After creating the birthday cards I made 2 graduation cards (below).. you can see them on my blog on Sunday, May 4th.
