One of my favorite techniques is adding color to embossed cardstock with blending brushes and my Stampin’ Up! ink pads. Look how pretty it looks when you add ink to white cardstock that has been embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder.
Ink Color Combo
I used 3 new In Color Stampin’ UP! ink pads: Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush & Timid Tiger with my blending brushes.

Technique Tip:
After stamping the bold images from the Layered Thoughts stamp set using Secret Sea ink, I let them dry and then colored over them with coordinating colors of Stampin’ Blends markers.

Glass & Gardens embossing folder inside!
Another tip I’ve shared a couple times, I think it looks fabulous to have a little embossing inside your card.. isn’t that cute?
I really love the combo of Misty Moonlight and Secret Sea with the 3 new ink colors!

Love this idea! Using color on top of the embossed image really brings it to life and makes it a focal point on the card! Thank you for sharing.
