Sunflower Embossing Folder Card Ideas

Yesterday during my live video I shared all my tips and handmade cards with you featuring the Stampin’ UP! Sunflower 3D embossing folder! We talked about best ways to emboss with this folder, Two Tone cardstock, embossing on Patterned Paper (!!), swiping ink on the paper, best color combos, and so much more! Missed the live? Let’s chat first about my favorite color combo. Poppy Parade and Strawberry Slush Stampin’ UP! ink pads swiped onto embossed Petal Pink Two Tone cardstock. I mean… how gorgeous!

Use Patterned paper & the Sunflower embossing folder

One of my favorite tips is combining the Sunflower Embossing Folder with the Woven Textures DSP patterns. I loved the earthy, almost Hawaiian or Batik feel of these cards.

  2. Patty, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! WOWZERS! Sunflowers are my very favorite flower, well, all flowers are my favorite. These cards are stunning, and your video was so much fun to watch. I would have never thought to use DSP, but what a surprise result! I am absolutely going to teach this to my team when it’s my turn to do our AZ stamp camp in September.
