Santa in September? Why not!?

I was making card samples with the Festive Friends bundle from Stampin’ Up! for our Luv 2 Stamp Group team event this past Saturday, and I had some left over miscellaneous pieces on my desk, such as the embossed Christmas Words panel, the white arch die cut, the stamped Santa, and that little polka dot strip of paper from the North Pole Delivery DSP pack.

So, I decided to see what I could make with these left over piece, and this is what I came up with! A Cute Santa Card!! I know it’s only September… but I just had to share!

Stampin’ Blends Coloring Tip

When another layer of color (Cherry Cobbler or Real Red Stampin’ Blends coloring) just doesn’t create enough shading or a dark enough shadow, just go over your color with light or dark Smoky Slate! It makes such a difference!

The final touch for my project was a sprinkling of foil stars. I used the “A Little Cheer Mini Punch Pack” star punch and some Cloud Cover Flower Garden Foil.
