I love the JOY cards I’ve created to share with you today… I actually did not have a plan when I sat down to create last weekend when I made these.

I did know that I wanted to try out this easy fun fold that is perfect for 6×6 DSP. So I started with that (dimensions are below in this post). The 6×6 DSP is from the Christmas Tags & More pack which includes 32 sheets of double sided printed paper PLUS 4 sheets of die cut images perfect for Christmas cards, scrapbook pages or other decor projects for the holidays.

A craft table displays folded red cardstock bases and green-and-red plaid patterned paper pieces. Text notes supply sizes: red base (4-1/4"x5-1/2"), plaid paper DSP (5-1/4"x6", scored at 2"), and a leftover 3/4" strip to use. A paper trimmer appears in the background. Several "JOY" cutouts in different patterns—floral, leafy, beige, and white—are arranged on a gridded craft mat. Two rectangular paper templates with "JOY" cut out are also visible. The mat is branded "Patty Bennett • PATTYSTAMPS.COM". To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

After I got the paper cut, folded and adhered to my base cards, I decided to die cut JOY using my Party Alphabet dies. I used the paper in the Christmas Tags & More pack to do the die cutting.

A hand holds a translucent embossing folder labeled “TRADITIONAL WREATH” with large, embossed white letters spelling “JOY.” Text on the folder reads: “Tip: Die cut first, then emboss.” Patty Bennett’s watermark appears at the bottom right. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

For the JOY letters on the card below, I embossed them with the Traditional Wreath embossing folder before adding them to the card.

Two handcrafted holiday cards rest on a grid surface. The front card is decorated with large “JOY” letters, holly, and red-green accents. The inside card, held open, displays plaid patterns, candy canes, and the stamped phrase “Tis the season.”. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

A little twist on the card below… the O is actually one of the many die cut pieces in the Christmas Tags & More pack!! You can also see all the great embellishments I added to the cards from the die cut pieces. The gold words are from the Greetings for You Mix & Match ephemera pack.

I just loved using the printed patterns in this pack to die cut JOY in a different pattern for each card!

Two images of a homemade Christmas card with a red, green, and gold plaid pattern. The front says "JOY" in large leafy letters with a red bow. The inside has a blank space bordered in gold and a small gift illustration with a bow. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

Below, I used the Traditions of Christmas paper for the die cut JOY for my last card. I think i forgot to include the holly embossing folder on my supply list below, but you can find the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing folder in my online store. I thought it looked amazing with the Foiled Frames & Labels piece!

Three large letters spelling "JOY" are cut from red and gold poinsettia-patterned paper, with the cutout, the letters, and a plain gray "JOY" on a gridded mat. Embossed white cardstock and “PattyStamps.com” logo are also visible. To read more, visit Patty Stamps (pattystamps.com)

I think this turned out to be my favorite JOY card with Christmas Tags & More!
