What a fun card this is to create.. the Triangle Twist Square Card is much easier than you think, and it’s one of those cards you can create 3 at once like the Accordion Card I shared last week!
Grab your 12×12 Two Tone cardstock or regular 12×12 cardstock, and squares of designer paper and make one with me while you watch the video tutorial at the bottom of this post! Each card uses THREE pieces of designer paper that are 3-3/4″ square, plus the 4″ x 12″ piece of cardstock. I also used the 2 largest Stylish Shapes squares in white.

I was hoarding my Storybook Moments paper stash… the design above with the strawberries, because it was TOO cute to use…. um… hello??? USE up the paper! Make a card, send a card. 🙂

Beautiful cards! The video is so helpful and the cards are impressive. I also save paper because it’s too pretty to cut – these cards are a perfect reason to use that DSP.
Thank you!! Let’s try to use up and share our pretty papers!! 🙂
Whow!!! I love your cards : they are beautiful, gorgeous, and STUNNING!
TFS Patty!
Thank you!!!
OMG! I pulled out some old cards today and one of them was this same card style from 2007! But yours is much prettier!
Oh my goodness.. how fun!!!
Super. I’ll try this sketch
yay, have fun making them!!
question: what envelope will you be using for the square twist cards?
Oh I covered that in the video.. I used the medium Stampin’ Up! envelopes so I don’t have to pay extra postage for a square envelope. https://www.stampinup.com/products/basic-white-medium-envelopes?demoid=2274
Hi Patty
Could you make this as a 6inch card instead of 4 and what would the scoring be. Also do you think that would work .
Thank you
Lyn
You would need a 6″ x 18″ piece of cardstock, score at 6″ and 12″.
I don’t have anything bigger than 12×12. You could piece several pieces together I guess.
