Recently, my friend Melanie mentioned how much she uses Cloud Cover… and I thought … hmmm, I rarely use it.. so I grabbed it and these 3 patterns from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Gallery paper pack to create 4 gorgeous cards!
Cloud Cover Card Details:
- Card Base: Cloud Cover cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded in 1/2 at 5-1/2″
- Basic Beige mat layer: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
- Floral layer: Beautiful Gallery DSP 3″ x 4-1/4″
- Blue strip: Beautiful Gallery DSP 1-1/4″ x 3″
- Flower: fussy cut from Beautiful Gallery paper
- Cloud Cover 5/8″ ribbon
- Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls
- Night of Navy Ink for greeting (from Fragrant Layers stamp set)
Don’t forget to gussy up the inside! I cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Beautiful Gallery paper, then added a 3″ x 4-1/4″ Basic Beige panel to match the front.
You can use this design and dimensions with any designer paper and colors.

These are beautiful! I reach for Cloud Cover all the time! It works with so many other colors and is sort of chameleon-like. I’d love to see it become a core color paper.
That is a perfect way to describe that color.. kind of like Basic Beige.

Hi Patty, I absolutely love your cards. You gave me an incentive to use the Basic Beige CS with Cloud Cover as it does make gorgeous cards. I usually use Secret Sea with it because it is my very favorite(alternate for black). Thank you for sharing your Artistic Talents with me.
