I love a happy rainbow of color, so this brand new Garden Poetry designer paper pack from Stampin’ Up! makes me VERY happy!

I created a set of slimline note cards with just 1-1/4″ strips of Garden Poetry paper and simple embellishments to decorate the cards.

Garden Poetry Slimline samples

By featuring the back side of the paper, I created a beautiful rainbow watercolor wash effect! I used this fabulous rainbow of “money envelopes” for my 3×6 slimline cards. You have choices with the Covered in Flowers accent pieces.. you can leave them in the off-white color they come in, or, you can color them. I opted for some ink blended color with Blending Brushes in Highland Heather, and then colored the stems with Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends markers.
